HARMAN Phoenix 200 is a quirky, experimental color negative film with high contrast and strong visible grain. Punchy, vibrant colors and plenty of analogue character.
A truly new color stock available to the film community, Phoenix is the first ever color film made entirely at Harman’s Mobberley factory. This is a limited edition, experimental film, with Harman's proceeds going to further development of their color emulsions.
DX coded cassettes and a box speed of 200, this film can be rated between ISO 100 to 400 but performs best outdoors in good, consistent light. There is a possibility of halation when shooting on brighter days or into the light. Best results in medium brightness scenes and metered for mid tones to retain shadow or highlight detail. Over or under exposure is not Phoenix’s friend.
This film may react differently to different scanners and settings. Proper scanning settings are strongly recommended for best results and can be found at Scanning Tips | Harman Photo
Develop using standard C41 processing.
